I did a short Star Wars comic. I like Star Wars, but one thing has bugged me for a while. In a universe full of robots, why are there child slaves? Maybe the Jedi suck at their jobs. Who knows?

The premise is aformer child slave, Uta goes to Coruscant to kill the Jedi, Ludo, who didn’t help her friend who was dying. The Jedi was having a meeting with an imperial senator, Jek. The same imperial senator that was on Canto Bight. Incensed by the lack of progress in the intervening years, the Former Child Slave tries kills them both.

I was watching the Comics Tropes video about Daniel Warren Johnson, and Chris highlighted Green Leader, which is probably the best Star Wars related thing I read. So I figured I’d have a go at a Star Wars story. I wanted to tell a story from a side part of the universe, where the life of people is left to get worse while a royal family and their religious cult fight a bunch of entitled posh boys with a private army . A part of the universe is filthy with opulence and gleaming robots and Child Slaves looking after massive and dangerous beasts. It’s because there is a lack of political will power to make to make shit better. Given the state of everything in these past couple of crywank decades, inept cats with the best of intentions failing to persuade corrupt landed gentry not to let the poor wither on the vine has been on my mind of late.

I had a lot of fun with this strip and I hope Marvel hires me too draw all the Star Wars comics.
