Cool! I really like what you've done with this.
Everything looks very good except the arm in the lower-left. I'm not exactly sure what that texture is supposed to be but it looks a bit out of place to me. Other than that though, it's very nice.

Ah! I thought that was what it was supposed to be but I wasn't quite sure. I do think that it's a little out of place though. I don't see anything else in the picture that looks mechanical. Wouldn't that be like a picture of a robot that had a lizard arm? I think that'd be kinda odd. I think that it kindof detracts from the rest of the piece.
Please understand, I'm not trying to be mean or anything, I'm just giving my take on it, cause I always try to give people helpful critiques - just saying "Cool" isn't particularly helpful you know what I mean?

I absolutely know what you mean and i really appreciate your kind of critiques ! You are right, this insert of a mechanical part is maybe not fitting perfect to the rest of the textures / creature. ItΒ΄s maybe a little bit too abstract...my intention was not to create something specific and well known, but you may be right...it could be appear in somebodyΒ΄s eyes a little bit strange. Again, thanks for your thoughts and i wish more people would take the time to comment in your style. These are the kind of critiques that could be helpful for everyone....
