"It is the period of world domination, where Parvo, leader of the canomutants plans to take over the world, by capturing all of the dogs around the world, to turn into fiery monsters, and put all of humanity into slavery...But all hope's not lost, William F, Shepherd, a professional scientist, create a special super hero team known as ROAD ROVERS, with the purpose to rescue those dogs they were captured, in order to restore the peace and light to the world..."
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, what maybe lot of you fans were waiting for after many years, it's finally here, a great (but not official yet, but someday it will...) crossover between Road Rovers and Star Wars, George Lucas' critically acclaimed and well known franchise of all time!
Now, WB once made this crossover with their cartoons, and that was the final episode to the Pinky and the Brain series called "Star Warners", which also features the return of the Animaniacs, with their respective voice actors: Tress Macnaille, Jess Harnell and Rob Paulsen.
As the episode serve for the grand finale for both shows, as the episode makes a mix of the three episodes of the original trilogy, all together in a nutshell to make such memorable and epic crossover WB ever done.
Of course, the rovers couldn't be able to fit into the episode, that may serve well to appear, as it'll be also the first time ever a crossover with the Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain.
But enough about that, because this year marks the 20th anniversary of the show, and after been a month after the world-wide release of Star Wars episode 7: The force awakens, I thought to do this, you know, to celebrate this anniversary, alongside with the box office success and also critical success of the George Lucas' franchise's new episode, so here it is!
Here we have the rovers, dress up as one of the memorable Star Wars characters surely many of you know pretty well:
-Hunter as Luke Skywalker, complete with his lightsabre, while the force be with him.
-Blitz as Han Solo, ready to hunt for some reward, as the character itself was like a bounty hunter, seaking for rewards.
-Shag as Chewbacca, Han's best partner, a wookie that shows no mercy to the enemies, and especially, when they mess with his partner.
-Colleen and Kumori as Leia Organa, as the two are in the outfits the character used:
Kumori uses the white dress (with some pink, due to her skin) with Leia's wig included from episode 4, as Colleen uses the slave dress Leia used in episode 6, when she became a slave to Jaba the Hutt, as she have a nice mace whip. (Although Leia never had this when she could, I thought putting this would make more epic to the crossover)
-Tsunami as Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was master to Anakin Skywalker, and later to Luke, and don't worry, this time, Tsunami won't get killed like Obi.
-Then there's... even though you might find a bit confusing, Exile as 3CP0, the golden robot from the series. Of course, some of you might not agree with this, since you would expect Exile be something better than being a droid, but hey, I have my rights with my thoughts and imagination, so, things like this can often happen, don't you agree?
-And lastly, we have R2-D2 and BB-8, two well known droids, that make a big important roles in the series, even for BB-8, which it's the recent and new droid to appear in episode 7, making a total successor to R2-D2.
But of course, Parvo, (From Metalexveemon's idea of a improved version of Parvo, which it's much better) and the Groomer (without her helmet, of course, which looks much better) are also here, or at least, in the sky, like images, while being next to it, the Death Star, perphaps, the most iconical enemy base ever created in the original trilogy. I was also planning to put Dr. Pyscho to be as Emperor Palpatine, but because there was no more space, I had to cut it, maybe for another time...
And what best to way to give this picture, that include a special tittle, mixing both Star Wars and Road Rovers, resulting to be in "Star Rovers"! Pretty cool, don't you think? I even add the intro dialogue from the original franchise, with some little modifications to make it more fun.
I can imagine Exile thinking right now about being a droid: "You know, comrades, this feels quite weird, being a droid, and no tail, I don't think this one could fit well, how about you, comrades R2-D2 and BB-8"
As the droids reply them with their robotic sounds, which in translation, goes like this: "I think you look fine, especially since being in gold, makes your tush glitters so well!"
As Exile replies to them: "Is that so? Hmph! Don't be weird droids!"
