Hey, sorry i haven't posted in a while, but heres a new pencil drawing. yeeahhh, its Mr depp.not entirely happy with this one. the chin looks weird...
i used
- HB, 2B and 4B
- black pencil
- little tortillion (its just so cute)
so, while im not quite happy with this (oh and it took 7 1/2 hrs) its my best work yet, so, well, thats sad...
any criticism VERY MUCH wanted. i want to improve...

That is simply incredible! I can't really find much wrong with it. Maybe a little more value on the beard-braids to add contrast with the neck?
Other than that, this is just a stellar job. Keep up the awesome work.

Quick question I hope you don't mind answering. What did you use to take the picture? A camera, scanner? Every time I use a scanner, my pictures end up too grainy and pixelated, and cameras just get the glare from my pictures--which is really screwing up the quality of what I've been posting recently. Just wondering what you use to get such a clean image on the computer...

i scanned it on with photoshop. so before it does the final scan, it does a "preveiw" where you can adjust the setting and add contrast, adjust the quality, the size, everything. then scan.
