Did ANYONE find it IRONIC that when Nemo's bed flies out of his bedroom, Doug cuts to "The Age of not Believing" from "Bedknobs & Broomsticks"?
It's ironic since the Sherman Brothers (The pair that did the music for Mary Poppins , Chitty Chitty Bang Bang & Charlotte's Web) did the music for BOTH Nemo AND Bedknobs!!

In my opinion, this is a very sincere review. He praises the animation and how it can have creative visuals, but he does admit the characters' blandness and the troubled production really killed it. Granted I did enjoyed it as a kid, that because it's very nostalgic, but now it is starting to become more troubling confusing. Little Nemo could have been done better if some of the characters are better developed, especially the princess who I believe should have been more of a tomboy princess just to make the friendship between her and Nemo better. Also, I kind of thought up some jokes the Critic could have put in, for example when the Princess becomes snooty of Nemo, I thought of a clip from "Rover Dangerfield" where Rover said "Thanks for making a total stranger feel like a total stranger." He did miss a few scenes like Nemo is being taught how to be a prince and meeting Flip earlier. Also he forgot this one part where the princess punches Flip in the fist. He could have come up with a new internet phrase "Princess Punch" because that could be a new internet sensation since "Big Lipped Alligator Moment". This is a very sincere review and I did enjoyed the movie as a kid.

I like how I can tell that the Nostalgia Critic steps on toes when making a review of a more beloved movie just by seeing that the review is rated 4.5/5, and not 5/5. Yeah, I really liked the movie, but he does offer a lot of good criticisms. I never noticed how much of the movie seems rather vapid.

Eh, I have to say I felt the review kinda forced... It's not bad but it doesn't feels as fun and clever as the others.

Great idea for an illustration to Little Nemo. However, I can't help but notice that a lot of your recent title cards don't have any text--is there a reason for that?

I just watched it...Another failed "Dream land" I think. The last and only good representation of a dream world I have experienced was Paprika, because dreamworlds need to be full of mind screw at the very least.
Also it bugs me that there is a nightmare land, Dreams are one thing, a nightmare is only a actively nasty one, it isn't just innately evil...
I think of the same thing with Inception, needed more mind screw to be a proper dream.

I haven't seen this episode yet but I'll say this: THIS MOVIE is my childhood right here. I mean, I thought this was one of the most creative animated movies ever when I saw it as a kid! I used to watch it all the damn time and oh man I loved it so much.
So I hope Doug does not call it a bad movie in anyway possible cause there are a LOT of people who love this movie.

The NC was WAY to harsh on this film. He never comments on the visuals until the end, which is the film's strong point.
