I actually saw that cartoon, and I gotta ask...what the hell show were you watching?
GEEWUN sucks. There's no tiptoeing around it. There are over a hundred toys, but no real characters. The plots are repeated time and time again. The dialogue is worthy of an Imma Channel (a YouTube channel that mocks ridiculous dialogue). There are several leaps in logic (Robots with advanced A.I. that can turn into cars and trucks from FOUR MILLION YEARS AGO?!) The animation is riddled with errors. It's a typical eighties cartoon, that is to say, totally awful in every single way.
And yet you treat it like the greatest thing since sliced bread, while simultaneously bashing the Bay films time and time again. At least they had some degree of characterization, and 1 and 3 had a plot. They also did their action so much better than just "Red Laser, Blue Laser". I'm sorry, Nostalgia Critic, but you definitely live up to your name, as you have revealed yourself as a Nostalgia Nut fanboy. Please kindly go to hell.

it had some interesting moments in the review but at the end it is just not his best review at all, to me is very close to be as bad like Melvin or the Bart's Nightmare game review, but thanks to Brad (CSnob) he was great at it, besides i am sorry but Doug is not very good at doing impressions at all, i know what he was trying to do with the review but his impression of Optimus wasn't even funny, i know he is making fun of a char buuuut still i have seen guys doing impressions of actors or presidents and they do a great job by making fun of it bot because they sound like him, to me all his impressions are the same guy you can tell it's him, heck even the sound effects he tries to do is so obvius it's him hahaha XD anyway at least he had balls to do it...oh btw no Sage?...yeah >...> it could have save even more the review, better luck next time Doug!

The Transformers cartoon sucked, but the (1986) movie is among my favorites.

Love the artwork, but hated the review. The Soundwave gag was too long (to the point where I yelled "ENOUGH ALREADY!") and NC's Optimus Prime impression was bad, which was disappointing seeing as how he did a much better one in the 'Top Ten NC F**kups' video.
On top of that, the review felt like it didn't have a lot of effort put into it. Reviewing the first two episodes of a new show is like saying the steak is poor just by poking it.
Sorry, but this was easily his worst review.

It was a fair review of a cartoon many people love (including myself) but dont remember how crappy it really was. I think the main reason people may find the review not as good as the other NC reviews is because it wasnt really a NC video...he was playing a character for an entire review, and this usually falls apart with every video producer, mainly because people watch Nostalgia Critic because they like Doug being a Nostalgia Critic and when they dont get that...they get angry.
As for the Soundwave part, well i liked how he pretty much summed up every romantic comedy that was ever created with that gag...but i dont think the "Transformers" review was a place to do it...he should probably leave it for some romantic comedy review or something like that...and yeah, it was kinda long, but i think that was the point of it...watching it i felt like Doug was actually playing a prank on the viewers more than he actually thought this will be THAT funny...like in Family Guy every time Peter hurst his knee and the next 15-20 seconds is him sitting holding his knee and going "sssss ouch".

If i ever have to listen to that Soundwave bit again, I'll pop my eyes out! I know that people don't like the movies, but really...I thought that watching the movies didn't make me cringe even the slightest, but just that bit there was equal to the disgust of any fans watching the movie. I swear!
...still NC does sport an awesome Prime outfit.
