Well, if you saved it with the codes still in effect, it won't matter.
I'd restart your save file (if you don't mind losing it) to see if that fixes it. If it doesn't, then you broke your game. Congratulations. XD
I once broke a GameShark by trying a code in Pokemon Crystal to make wild Professor Oaks appear. It froze instantly, and when I rebooted the GameShark, all the characters were illegible and hasn't worked since. I must've fried it.
