its hard to ask, but to get the white border around the image, I tend to do that manually 

(first I make a simple line then I colored black the whole exterior, but I notice that you have something like, you select a part of the canvas, then adjust a border so it expands or something like that)

Ohhh! Ok well.. it's not hard at all! xD All you really need is a "closed drawing" without any gaps and the selection tool~!
