Name: Shimmering Paws
Nicknames: Shimmer

Age: 25 Years Old

Background:

Shimmer has always been a very study driven animal loving pony from a very young age. She loved working with her parents when it came to raising and breeding dogs. It was at this young age that she decided that she would one day love to become a veterinarian and to hopefully work on helping all animals big and small. Shimmer gained her cutie mark when she took charge one day when one of their dogs was having issues during birth. She was careful and precise and ultimately ended up saving the mother dog and the whole litter of puppies. Shimmer has worked hard ever since to keep learning all she could about the field.

General Bio:

Shimmer is a pretty self sufficient pony that tends to keep to herself. She enjoys her solitude, but she is prone to bouts of loneliness that she usually spends with her husband Silent Star. Shimmer loves to spend time with her friends and family, but has had some cases of feeling like she's not enough, or that she doesn't belong. These feelings are what tend to cause her to go into her times of solitude. She works very hard to achieve all she has, but still feels there is more she should be doing. Around other, Shimmer is very friendly, but closed off in a way that makes her seem like she's just cool, calm, and collected, which isn't far from the truth. This demeanor though is more due to her shyness and worry about reaching out and gaining new friends.
