The fact that the movie was made for network TV killed the grit and rawness that the story has, but Curry single-handedly made it entertaining.

Wow, thanks a lot! It's funny that you mentioned "the look", because that part of it was very important to me when I was painting this. I really wanted you to see a certain amount of "desperation" in his eyes, as well as sheer anger and blood lust. Thanks for noticing.

well this is actually the second installment in a 3-part series. i just realized that Tim Curry portrays 3 of the coolest villains of all time; "Pennywise" (the clown) , Lord Darkness (here's a link to see that one I did [link] ), and "Dr.Frankenfurter" from the Rocky Horror Picture Show (which I will be working on shortly).
So I guess it's sort of a "Tim Curry" Tribute.
