btw, I really do intend on taking a better photograph of this... This was just a quick cell phone picture before I turned it in.

you touch on a subject (Butterfly/Elephant) so dear to my current WIPs
i am caught up with similar cooling effect of Β their flapping wings
the size difference is however baffling,
their intelligence and their memory intriguing
joyfully fascinated by them
and their third eye
this would really pop with a better photo though

I've tried to take some clearer pictures of this one but my camera is pretty lame. I don't know why it's not focusing, might be all the crazy little dots... Maybe I should invest in a new camera.

Wow, I love the surrealism of this piece. its interesting and beautiful. I am impressed with the stippling technique and well you used that to create light and shadow. And the idea in and of itself is so intriguing that I couldn't really stop looking at it for a while!
