A Halloween costume I made this year. It may not be as cute as that anime Creeper girl in that animation video that you might find somewhere around here or YouTube, but it floats my boat.

I kept the costume and keep it as if it is a "pet" creeper that is tamed and domesticated. Perhaps I love games just that much. But you'd probably do the same thing too if you were like me.

The flaps between the eyes are where I see out of. I tried to find a method that would not expose my eyes, but would give me enough room to see my surroundings in front of me. I think it worked out rather well in fact.

The costume was made with a tall cardboard box, a green tablecloth, black contruction paper for the face, green construction paper to create the flaps between the eyes, and a green jacket for the arms. The camoflauge gloves were the closest I could find to green gloves, so I guess I should include them too.

I would have used a pair of green pants and shoes to go along with the costume, but I do not own any. The only other problem, and the most serious, was the fact that many did not know what Minecraft was, let alone a creeper, so it was frustrating to explain several times, but it paid off for those who did know and loved it.
