The face of video games himself! Mario, hero of the Mushroom Kingdom, is finally available in minifigure form. I've wanted to do Mario for a long time, and thanks to having the correct parts, he's film done.

Background:
Mario is widely regarded as one of the greatest video game characters of all-time. He first appeared in 1981, alongside fellow Nintendo mascot Donkey Kong in the game of the same name, and ever since, he's had a big career as the face of not only Nintendo, but arguably as the face of the entire video game industry as well. He's appeared in numerous hits from Super Mario Bros. 3, and Mario Kart 64 to Super Mario World and Mario Tennis. And he shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. Most of Mario's games involve him rescuing the Mushroom Kingdom's Princess Peach, from the Koopa king, Bowser, with help from his brother Luigi. Mario has also made many friends along the way, including a dinosaur named Yoshi, and a twisted clone of himself named Wario, all of whom have participated in various sporting events with him, whether it be go-kart racing, tennis, baseball, golf, basketball, and even fighting tournaments among others.

Mario, the Super Mario franchise, and all related games and media are properties of Nintendo. LEGO and the LEGO minifigure are properties of The LEGO Group.
