A lovely watercolor study Marshy! You certainly managed to get in as much detail as you could and have a nice rought brushstroke as well which fits the whole picture perfectly.
Great job!

Thank you very much Though, I'm still not 100% happy with it, I think I may work more on the upper lip, since currently there isn't one.
Actually I used acrylic, not watercolour. I just like to water them down as it gives the feel of watercolour, but produces stronger colours

O_o Acrylic? Really? I guessed it would be for the red and the spots of white...but the grey shading? Really? How'd you get it to blend so nicely?

Water I'm much more at home when using water colours but usually their
colours aren't strong enough, so I settle for watering down my acrylics

e_e Brilliant. I must try that sometime. Thank you so much. Acrylics have always driven me mad because I have no idea of how to blend them. It's one of the reasons why I love oil paints is because they blend so well, but they're a bitch to mix. But maybe that's because in my art class we mix on flat palettes and they spread allllllll over. Fblhsfalhdfj, listen to me complain hahahaha.

I've never used oil paints before, but I've seen a friend of mine
