Very clever use of texture and composition. The way the three figures appear to be looking up at the night sky is very effective; not only is a high contrast applied around the shapes but a distinct atmosphere of gaze, wonder and reflection is conveyed. The brighter colour of the three sisters creates quite the interesting focus point, and the fade into the land is distinctly natural. The various points of light and grainy speckles on the sky are also quite nice touches, adding to the feel of the night. Looking at the image from far away, the slightly murky colours of the sky give a recognizable feeling of calmness and openness. Awesome shot!
