Description
A blade of jade against the crimson sky - thus is the banner of the Grassator when flickers briefly on auger arrays. These days, the elusive vessel is seldom seen, yet its tale is told in every dockyard, port, and bar between the Great Rift Thetys and the elder frontier. It's the tale of the greatest Xenos hunter ever to roam the constellations of Gondwana, two thousand years ago, during the Hunt for the Drukhari Princeling Laurelin. The hunter was a mortal man, though it is said he was an inquisitor's acolyte. But his mentor and all his kinsmen were taken by the slavers of Commorragh - and the hunter followed, plunged his vessel deep into the webway ruins on paths only the ancients know.
What he found in the depths between warp and reality, nobody knows. Nobody is even sure the man who entered ever returned. His ship came back, but like the crew, it was changed, beautiful and terrible at the same time.
