Description
The Homados Cutter is a fast attack craft deployed by the Colonial Fleets of Amad Tir. In larger fleet formations, it serves as a strike craft and squadron escort, while taking on a wider range of independent roles around colonial outposts and bases.

At less than one hundred meters in length, the Homados is one of the smallest armed vessels of the Colonial Fleets. Due to its lacking endurance and star-going capability, the cutter relies on carriers and tenders for strategic mobility and deployment. Once in the space of operations, however, the Homados is nearly unsurpassed in terms of agility and speed.
Two massive thruster pods and a huge power core in relation to the size of the craft allow the ship to perform rapid maneuvers and burns, limited only by the craft's ability to cushion the high-g forces on the crew.

In battle, the Homados Cutter and strike-craft, in general, are considered a highly volatile type of vessel. When brought to bear at the right position and time, the cutter's superior maneuverability and ability to carry considerable armaments and huge payloads can be used to devastating effect against the enemy. Well-commanded cutter squadrons have been known to take down starships many times their own size and to disrupt entire fleet formations of the enemy.
But in turn, these small and lightly protected vessels will suffer dramatically when caught in an unfavorable position, unable to endure direct fire. Consequently, the effectiveness of these units highly depends on the capabilities of the fleet's command, as well as the individual crews.
