White ice lords over the world.
The glaciers are harbingers of the coming age, an eon of frost and cold death returning from the distant past. It is as foretold by the legends. Steady, the frost encroaches on all oceans and lands, consigning Telos to a frigid fate.

By the end of this century, the ice shelves of the north and south will meet, quenching all life between them. By the end of the next, the last vestiges of civilization as it is known today, will be frozen over and razed. Blinding white will cover the last of the open oceans and swallow what arable land remains. There will be no warmth left on Telos, only a winter without end.

All hope of the Telosian People now lies with the legacy of the Ancients. Their Guidestones led on a path to their heavenly shrine of knowledge. To follow, the Telosians have had to brave the void and reach new worlds under their sun.
The promise of salvation lies out there, and a vision of a future the Ancients never had.
