VERY nice. It's extremely beautiful. My only problem is the fact that she's missing the green hair (her official hair color according to FF6). I know Dissida made her blonde, however. But... still.

yepp - the composition is wonderfully developped! The strong shadows in the surroundings perfectly represent her doubts (and with this pose you only strengthen this effect) while you also include this light that probably represents a possible good future and hope, right?
I don't know whether you thought of more or less - I think an artist always includes more more inconcious aspects than wanted aspects.
However - simply a beautiful work. One that is more than just a simple fanart^^ aiming for emotions - in this case I would it summerize to doubts and hopes.

yeah you're right ^_^ this is the personality of Terra and is what I wanted to capture, his feelings of doubts and hopes. Maybe a little innocent and wondering what will happen in the future. Plus his watching the magicite which maybe is... you know. A big world you can imagine with a magicite, a key of Final Fantasy VI.
Anyway, the effects in the lights was occurred to me while I was painting, not in the beginning
