I thought Jetta would win on pure fighting skills. If you rely on a gun often your fighting skills would suffer after a bit.

Maybe if the story was set in the current books, the outcome would be different. In a small way, this story ties in to the first graphic novel. Jetta mentions that she needs to fight dirty in order to win against Desai. She learned well from Turra.
