Ah yes!One of my favorite shows EVER! If you know me, you know that I love Power Rangers. I recently found out that one of my good friends, Shawn Pryor of Action Lab Entertainment and fellow studio mate, was just as big a fan as I am. So, I drew this White Ranger illustration for him as a Christmas gift. The original size is 11x17 on Strathmore smooth Bristol Paper. The lines on it are from the comic book brand. (I love that stuff.) I did this in pencil and ink with Copic warm, cool, and neutral grays. Check out my tutorial on how I use copic markers for commissions on my blog at [link] . The very last time I remember watching the original power rangers was the Power Rangers movie with my cousin at my grandparents.
White Ranger and Black Ranger were my favorites :3

I've been watching it since I learned about the Japanese Sentai show in the 80's. Love the idea of this long running series.

It's weird but thinking about them made me remember another Sentai -esque show I watched when I was a kid;
"Big Bad Beetleborg Metallics" (I'm pretty sure that's the exact title XD )
The heroes were a group of younger Tweenage kids and they used their bug themed armor to fight slightly more traditional monsters (I DISTINCTLY remember them having to deal with a bad guy who based on the Phantom from Phantom of the Opera in one episode).
the kids were secretly friends with a mummy, some other kind of monster, and the leader of those three monsters reminded me of a slightly less creepy version of Batman's Joker XD

The show got canceled really quickly. Saban, the company that owns Power Rangers, used the Big Bad Beetle Borg costumes for villians in Power Rnagers forever Red. Haha. I'm such a nerd.

I don't get to go the library much since there's so much crazy going on, so I geek out on wikipedia whenever I'm having trouble thinking of something creative.
