Well, coloured version of one of these sketches: [link]photoshop on rough pencil. It surprisngly didn't take me that long.
For who's asking why is the "pre volcano" darth vader it's only because I did the sketch while watching episode III and because I like jedi fashion. I'd love to make a good old masked Vader sooner or later but I find that making masks and armors are a bit intimidating.

Vader should never have kept his blue blade and got a red one once he turned to the dark side because blue ruined his character.

no, me fatti da sola pasticciando con le opzioni. vuoi che ti zippo e mando? ho la versione cs3 io pero', non so che versione hai te e se ti funzionano ma non credo costi molto provare....

uhm, guarda, in generale, ho preso pennelli di quelli base tipo picchiettati-grunge e ho modificato con varie combinazioni queste 4 opzioni:
.smoothing (che dovrebbe ammorbidire il tutto)
.wet edges (che fa i contorni bagnati, utile per alcuni effetti)
.other dynamics (per la variazione di opacita', di solito impostata al 0%)
.shape dynamics (con un minimum diameter basso ma non completamente al 0%, diciamo circa 10%)
ah, in aggiunta c'e' 'sto tutorial: [link] improntato solo sui pennelli per la pittura in photoshop che mi ha aperto un mondo quando l'ho letto per la prima volta! XD

Wow, that's so cool.. The glow off the lightsaber is perfect. The shadows are the best part, I think... I wish I could draw folds in cloth >_<
