I know, night furies are dragons, an dragons are oviparous, but...What if night furies were mammals?
aaaaand then this came out
My first experiment with Paintool SAI.
I deeply regret not having it recorded, because for some reason I managed for doing it with 4 layers and 25 minutes...
Maybe the desesperation of not uploading anything in the last months . I really miss you guys

IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Some people are taking this seriously, and I want to clarify some things. I know (most probably) they are not mammals, this is born from my strange imagination, and should be treated as "imagination", I drawn this because I wanted.
Just my realistic way to draw an irrealistic combination.
Remember that night furies are (still) not real, please use logic for expanding possibilities, not to reduce them. Thanks

As you have stated Dragons as they are portrayed in Httyd are egg layers however there are creatures in rl that should be and arent. for example a few geckos and snakes bear live young. Some fish do though i have yet to hear of a bird doing this... point being it could happen. Nightfuries could just be weird like that.

That's sounds better, anyway we are still not sure if night furies lay eggs or are exothermic. There are platypuses and bats, Why not?

Actually I am just not agree with you, but as Dragons doesn't exist (that could have been fun, though) we have the right to think what we want about their behaviour, mammals or not, etc... So in my opinion arguing on something which doesn't exist does not worth it.
It is not even logical (reptiles=> eggs) or anything, but as that doesn't exist, everyone have the right to think what he wants about this.

Jesus Christ... That is... I have no words to describe it! It's more than just "awesome" or only "brilliant". This art break one of the lasts boundary between fiction and reality. For me, it's a milestone of Night Furies Fan-Art! So, what can I tell you after this art? Thank you, martin, for this art! Thank you!

My legacy will be to take the night fury to reality as far as possible.
Even though it has started as a lucrative sketch. I don't mind. The night fury concept now have a special place in my mind and memory.

Finaly! I have found here a soul-mate; someone who think just like me! I'm so happy now! Really.
You know: I think about Night Furies this same; to make them so real as it's possible. End even more! That's why I love to draw my little friend, a Carpathian fury, called Toother not like a cartoon character but like a realistic but extraordinary animal. It's a great fun for my in each of my new arts to break another boundary of creation. but it's not everything! I'm going to make a Dragonologic Night Furies Anatomy Atlas - it's a project "Dragonera". I have just written few journal entries about Night Furies classification and dragons evolution but project "Dragonera" would be a final point of this reflections. Just think! Night Furies described like humans and other real beings - professional drawings of theirs body, skeleton, internal organs. Night Furies like real-one's!
I'm sure that you are one of the few NF-fans on DA who understand what does it means for HTTYD-fan community and all dragons fans, not only on DA! it can be a revolution in Dragonology. I would be proud to be able to make it with you... my friend.
