B Unit, for my project "One Last Chance", coming May 2009!This is a prototype design for a key vehicle in the story - if I have time, I will do more explainatory drawings, (which would probably make more sense of it) maybe even change the design but as it is, I gotta move on! Much to do ...

Totally different right? Well ... just decided it was too human like ... wanted to at least try and make something different and iconic
All comments welcome and appreciated! If you like it, consider buying a print! Once the first chapter is out, the opportunity will be gone as I will be removing that option.

Thats really sweet! I'm not sure what it is, the pose, the nice balance of exposed and covered mechanisms, the pieces of thick steel shell. I don't know what it is entirely, but it works!

I just remembered what you said about being inspiring by textures, and dude - you totally don't need any. I think you're working really well with them. I really dig what you've got going on here! Dirty walls but smooth machinery, it's a lovely combination

pretty neat, like the metal shading - the body has a bit of a GW dreadnought feel to it (sry, nothing against it...no denying GW is a great source of inspiration!) minus the hulking arms. Just noticed the red legs in amongst the leg mechanics, a bit of exo-skeleton action nice!
(...only because of the shape it's a bit like those enemy walker things from the early robotech/macross animation)

LOL, indeed - that's half the reason I want to redesign it. It wasn't until I started doing th efeet that I realised the similarities. And the top, whilst I think it looks kinda funky, isn't quite what I imagined - too boxy. I have some ideas for it mobilises but it still hasn't quite come across here ...
But time is at the essence ... I dont know if I'll be able to make changes! eek!
