Whilst I dare say some of this is down to execution ... i think it's well and truly time for me to sit down and really make these designs work, cos this isn't really at the moment.Man, its gonna be a long few months but hopefully something good will come out the other side!
I'm happy with the brushstrokey style though

Nice painty style. I'd bring the collar in close to her neck. At the moment it makes it look like she's hunched.
Massive platforms tend to work better with standing poses rather than walking too.

thanks mate - can't believe I couldnt see it, even when after you pointed it out it stared me in the face!
Tweaked it a bit now ... so it shouldnt be so bad. I'm a lot more comfortable with it now, thanks!
