This image, named Water Circles was taken on September 10th, 2008. This was taken at 10am on a beautiful early fall morning.. This was in Weissport Pennsylvania, located just off the northeast extension of the PA Turnpike and about 3 miles east of Jim Thorpe Pennsylvania
Taken with a Canon XTi set to an ISO of 100 and taken at a focal length of 28mm With a EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM
the water was calm, the sky cloud filled and the reflection was smooth and flat. To add some dimension, I tossed a few pebbles into the water and this is the result.
I would like to go back and attempt this again, same location (I walk along this canal often), this time a better camera ( i now use a Canon 50D) And a different lens, although the lens I used has some decent glass.

Note: Autumn, usually the 1st to 3rd week of October are the most spectacular times to view the fall foliage in this beautiful area of Pennsylvania
