Great photo indeed, the only thing i can think of is maybe a bit brighter around the kids face. Some levels in PS could fix that though.

Here is the constructive critique you wanted:
The contrast, color saturation and focus all seem good.The angle the shot is very interesting and you are making good use of the rule of two thirds. The light coming through the window is nice and soft and it almost looks like there is rain drops on it, too bad you were not able to have that more in focus as well as it might have added to the strength. I also happen to know it is hard to get a genuine smile on a kid for a photo where it looks natural and not strained. Yes he is cute.

Bra skygge/lys pΓ₯ fjeset. Er bare naturlig lys regner jeg med? Synes selv det ofte er det beste. Komposisjonen fungerte veldig bra, synes diagonalen i bildet gav mye flow i bildet. (Og fΓΈrte en til ungen.) Denne linjen gir ogsΓ₯ intryk av at er noe stort og spennende i retning gutten ser. Man begynner virkelig Γ₯ lure pΓ₯ hva som har tatt oppmerksomheten hans. Lyset traff ogsΓ₯ sΓ¦rs bra med at kun hodet hans er lyst opp mens resten er mΓΈrkt, samtidig som at dette ser helt naturlig. (Er det det?) Godt jobbet.
Og unger er jo sΓΈte krabater.
