My little black angel. Gu.
You taught me the courage of stars before you left
How light carries on endlessly, even after death
With shortness of breath, you explained the infinite
How rare and beautiful it is to even exist
I wanted this particular song to be used here, because when I came back from Poland after a month, Gu seemed to be more loving towards my boyfriend and it hurt me that he does not come to me for purrs and cuddles. One day, I was showing my bf the song Saturn by Sleeping At Last, and somewhere around half of the song Gu came and lied down on my chest, purring. He licked my chin and soon after, he fell asleep. It was 7th of February. He kept coming to me couple of more times since.
On 11th of February he left us. Forever.

It’s always sad to hear about a death, especially one of a close friend, or in this case, a pet. This is a marvelous piece, the colors are spot on and it’s a beautiful piece to honor Gu’s life with.
