This is my Vulpanim, Namida.

Vulpanim are closed species created by my dear friend Snowfox-Angel .

Bio:

Name

Namida - in native meaning of Cheyenne tribe it's "star dancer", in Japanese "tear".
Both meanings are relevant.

Origin
Namida is the Angel Fox reincarnation of Shiver Zephyr's mother, who died when giving birth to him.

Shiver was all his mom cared for through all the pregnancy and birth giving, so she transferred so much love to Shiver, making him regularly dreaming about some intriguing vixen. Though he never knew who she is, she used to appear always when he was in sorrow or pain, and her appearance was bringing him hope and calming him down, like the Mother's presence does.

From the beginning, she often appears in Shiver Zephyr's dreams (since she hasn’t materialised at that point). It happens in his mind/dreams when he is in sorrow and pain - her spirit is in him.

Shiver was raised by his dad, who sadly went missing on Shiver's 3rd winter. Shiver became lost, alone and frightened. Then one fateful day he gets terribly ill.

As he weakens from this terrible disease and falls into a fever, soon he starts to get horrible nightmares. The only beacon of light in the nightmares is the thought of Namida, and he draws comfort from her. As the pain reaches its worse he wishes for it to end, the only comfort remains Namida. Thinking he has reached the end... he dreams with his last strength that all orphans who are suffering like him had the comfort that Namida brought to him. At that point the strength and conviction of this dream along with Namida's love, Namida is born and appears.

Namida nurses him with all the care a Mother can give and protects him and fights his nightmares as he sleeps.

Purpose
The origin and bond is so strong that Shiver will be a son to Namida and a priority to her. But her main purpose is to be a Mother to orphans in need (like Shiver). Nursing and caring for them too and fighting nightmares.

Her gift of fighting nightmares is unique - the comfort her image gave Shiver in his nightmares, became the origin of her special power to fight nightmares.

Gem
Black/Purple opal. It's shiny, incredibly beautiful gem, mixed purple and blue (color that's similar to Shiver markings' colors).
In the heart shape, symbolizing love and devotion.

Markings
She has the gem markings around the eyes too. She has colours of the gem also on the tail (in the shape similar to Shiver's marking, though it doesn't shine)

Halo
Her halo resembles a Dreamcatcher and has three strings of shiny feathers attached, as a symbol of three years old Shiver when he let her rise with his powerful dream. Dreamcatcher also symbolises the power to fight nightmares.

Accessories
She has 3 purple bracelets on her left paw and a special kind of shining feathers decoration attached to the tail.

Colors
Her wings are glowing purple. Her eyes are purple as well. The accessory on the tail has the colors of her gem, shining with the brighter tones of blue and pink.
