Description
After a very cold weekend (we even had snow
) I decided to take a break from my mushroom-paintings and paint something with Spring 
Done with acrylics, watercolor and airbrush on paper

Nach dem Wintereinbruch hier letzte Woche hatte ich so die Nase voll von Schnee und wollte einfach was Fruehlingshaftes machen. Nun ist der Fruehling auch endlich hier und ich war heute den ganzen Tag im Wald auf Morchelpirsch

Hm, der FrΓΌhling macht sich hier auch gerade etwas rar. Heute ist es nur am Regnen... da guck' ich so schΓΆne Bilder gleich noch mal so gerne an. :3

In Hokkaido ist am Sonntag nochmal bis zu 30cm Neuschnee gefallen und dann war alles total matsching... brrr. bei uns ging es noch, aber es war trotzdem noch Schneeregen und saukalt. Morgen ist Hanamiparty von der Uni aus... wahrscheinlich ohne Sakura, die wird wohl erst am Wochenende kommen
Aber dann wirds hoffentlich endlich schoen

Wir haben hier zo viele Fluesse und Baeche in der Naehe, da fahren wir oft hin, setzten uns dazu und entspannen
Diese Woche soll dann auch ENDLICH der Fruehling hier kommen.

Thank you so much... we have a lot of creeks and wild rivers in the mountains here. I love to hike there and enjoy the atmosphere. Winter is hopefully over this week. Can't wait to pick Gyojaninniku again

The weather is finally warm and nice over here and the cherry-blossom now out a little, so I enjoyed my Hanami yesterday very much (exept, that we all drunk too much 
I'm also looking forward to the weekend. We will go hiking and pick Gyojaninniku. Katakuri and Ichige are out now, too and so the forest has a beautiful carpet of violet and white flowers.

Was cold here over weekend too and wet.
One of the things I love about painting landscapes,
if I don't like the one I can see I can get lost in painting
one I do like and for awhile the weather outside disappears

We do have lots of creeks and brooks here in the forest, so I often go there and just sit and watch and listen
Yes and after that snow and rain, I really felt, I need Spring so much. I also used painting as a way to get away from my daily routine... I'm happy that I can "break away" that way, too and share my inner world with others.

We do have some creeks like this about 10km from here. I often love to drive there and enjoy the water and the trees

Here we have mediterranean bush and pine forest, I think that is really a beautiful place for who loves nature ^^

Oh and it must smell so wonderful of pine, right?
I love that smell, because it is so fresh. We rarely have pines over here in the north, but we have such redwood-trees, which are a bit similar.
