Description
Natural Photo! Arms are not photoshoped, they are natural on "film" shots, single shutter. Only photoshop is in contrast and saturation. Please let me know if you like. I am starting to enjoy doing these odd technical bits of photography and the tricky stuff. Thanks for taking the time to check this out.

That is soooo cool dude but how did you keep the face so still with a slower shutter speed?

She didn't move her face very much, so it didn't blur

this is pretty damn good.
done with a strobe light?
i like the way the dace is captured unaltered, while the arms are haywire.

That's crazy! I absolutely adore long exposure, they're one of the most fun things to do in photography. This one turned out excepcionally good! Congrats.

party strobe? how did you get such loevely tone out of a footie strobe? it's beaitful though. You should find a dancer and have her (or him) jump around for you, Slow down the rate for the strobe pulse.
You can do the same ind of thing but make it look like a movie. What you do is: atke a film camera, click through all the role with the lense cap on, then get it set up. put it on bulb, then get some one to fire off a seperate flash while you rewind the film past the open shutter. it looks like a film strip. It depends on how quick you wind the film how cloe the images are to each other, or if they over lap.
Then you can contact print the whole thing or enlarge it. It helps to have a 4X5 enlarger, pop a piece of film in there and you can get more images at once then just a 35 mm enlarger. check out this girl's gallery soon. She'll be posting one that she made. [link] I wound the film for her, my fired the flash while she danced. oh yeah, you gotta do it in compleat darkness, like you did here.
Great job! keep up the awsome work!

I don't think you can properly expose and capture movement with stroboscopic techniques from anything but strait on. If you do it simply creates a track mark of movement in the latteral direction. Which is indeed a cool effect. As for expression, if i ever play with the idea again i will be sure to shoot some with other faces

thank you very much . I wish more people would take a look at it. But unfortunatly most people right it off as photoshop work when it is anything but. For shame. Maybe someday

Only amatures would assume that's Photoshopped (even though that's not the legally proper term ^_^).
Besides, its too good to be Photoshopped more than contrast
Nice job.

Thank you, i enjoy it quite a bit myself. I feel, it is actually somewhat inovative, not that simlar things haven't been done, as most things have, but i think i did it in a way that i can trualy appriciate, i hope it gets some attention, it's one of those ones that kinda means something when you open it on your computer, to me anyway lol. Anyways, i'm off my rant haha. Thanks for your support
