Description
This was where she fell. Almost 2 years ago, the time had gone faster than had been expected. Cherry had avoided this cavern like the plague, unable to get the sight of her own blood staining the moss from her mind. Thankfully, there was no more sign of red to be found as she moved through the cave entrance. Honeydew had insisted on accompanying her, which honestly? Cherry was very glad for. Who knows how she’d feel staring at those rocks.
Finally seeing the cavern in its true glory, Cherry stared up at the entrance, eyes squinting in the sun. Honeydew had been concerned going here during the day would risk avus contact, but Cizara had confirmed through the hyphae that the village nearby had not been rebuilt. Trees end Cherry mourned silently, head bowed.
Coming here was to be her final goodbye to her old life. It had been long enough, Cherry had to move on from the past. Feeling the ache in her right shoulder more than ever, Cherry slowly clambered up the rocks, the touch of the moss making her sick to her stomach. Honeydew stayed at the bottom of the cavern, keenly aware that this needed to be cherry’s journey, alone.
Cherry felt reassured by honey’s gaze as she continued to get on top of the rocks, until finally; she reached her destination. The cave had already forgotten her fall: the moss lay still, perfectly fluffy. No sign of blood or tears to be seen. She sighed, taking a seat where she had once lay unconscious.
Honeydew and Cherry spent the afternoon there in silence.

Cherry flashback of her returning to where she fell from the sky for the first (and last) time for the disability CA! I’m not super happy with the background, but it was at least helpful practice :,]
