"Springtime in Kyoto"

An early morning view of Kyoto, a place I wish I could visit sometime, For now, I content myself with google street view (many thanks for its existence, to all the people working for it). In this way I was able to discover this vista down a slope in the Higashiyama district, that enchanted me and prompted me to make this painting even if I was worried because landscapes aren't my forte and I knew it could take me a lot of effort and time...

Used photoshop cs5 and wacom bamboo tablet (all painted from scratch)
