Description

The inland sea of Marvellous Valley is home to many endemic sea life that can not be found elsewhere on earth.

One such example is the Harbor Pheasel (Brachiocetus phocoides), a member of an ancient lineage of marine predators that have been locked away in this isolated sea. Fully grown male may length up to 6 metres and weigh as much as two and a half tonnes, becoming an undisputed apex predator of this shallow inland sea.

However, even the baddest of the killers need their time off. This large male harbor pheasel took his time to settle down at the bottom of the sea, rolling and scrubbing his body against the substrate. This would help him get rid of old skin cells and external parasites, as well as getting comfortable from the sensation. He was also accompanied by many small fish which came to feast upon the dead skin and the loose parasites.
