"Springy?" you asked, slowly crawling forwards. "(Y/N)?" a voice replied. You heard heavy, uneven footsteps approaching the vent. You flinched, fearing that he may hurt you. "(Y/N)?" Springtrap's large figure blocked out the light coming in through the vent, so you were shrouded in darkness for a few moments.

"Springy...Are you going to...h-hurt me?" you gulped, nervously backing away from Springtrap. He peered in at you, eyelids drooping sadly. "(Y/N)...Please, c-come out...I w-won't hurt you..." Springtrap murmured.

You hesitantly crawled forwards as Springtrap backed away from the vent. You crawled out of the vent and then stood up. The two of you stood there in silence, staring into each other's eyes.

Within a few moments, Springtrap pulled you into a bear hug. "(Y/N)...O-Oh, (Y/N)...I-I'm so glad y-y-you're okay...I-I'm so glad he d-didn't find you..." he said, artificial relief and sadness in his voice.

(A/N: I say "artificial" because Springtrap is an animatronic.)

"He?" you asked, looking up at him with concern. Springtrap let out a sigh, his ears drooping as he released the hug. "I-It's him...Th-The child murderer..."

You felt confused, not knowing who he was talking about. "But the only two of us in here are you and me...Wait, is there someone else in the building?!" you asked, looking around nervously.

"N-No...T-Take a look at me!" he replied, gesturing to his body. You immediately took notice of the large gashes in his suit, filled with organs and arteries.

His body starting shaking a bit, his eyelids set in a position that resembled a scowl.

"C-Can you see the death...In m-my eyes?!" he asked, grabbing your shirt collar out of pure rage. Violent thoughts overcame him as he growled, eyes gleaming with an intimidating intensity. You hyperventilated, staring back into his eyes and paralyzed by pure terror.

Springtrap's grip loosened and he dropped you as he stood up, his body twitching and shivering. He walked forwards, leaning against the wall and making panting noises.

Quickly you stood up and stepped back, fearing for your life.

"S-Springy?" you whispered, tears pricking at your eyes.

Springtrap laughed ominously, his head slowly turning your towards your direction.

The permanent grin on his face seemed to spread as his laughter became louder.

"IT'S ME!"
