I am 25. When I was about 8 years old, my grandmother would wake me up every Friday morning at 2 am to watch Mighty Mouse and then Underdog. It came on Cartoon Network if I am not mistaken, though I very well could be. Now she knew what a good cartoon was.

Actually, what bugs me the most is seeing my childhood revived as either a live-action or CG abomination! Ugh, I'd rather this stuff remain forgotten than get destroyed like that...

Eh, Mighty Mouse was really just a blatant Superman ripoff with no characterisation. I'm pretty sure he'll stay a memory.
When nerds complain about the Hollywood cash-ins of old cartoons sucking, just remember that the cartoons probably weren't great either. I grew up with Robots in Disguise rather than G1 Transformers, for instance. And I can recognise that G1 is so awful I can barely watch it.
Still, they'd better damn not fuck up the Captain Planet movie...
