A new year, a new reference sheet, I suppose? Actually, I realized that I had not made a new proper ref sheet for my fursona since 2012.
That ref sheet is pretty outdated now. I've been wanting to make a new one for years now, and I don't know why I got so lazy about it.By the way, considering this year's zodiac animal, it's funny how he already looked like a rat, even though he's not a rat.
That "part 2" thing was an in-joke on the fact that the 2012 ref sheet had "part 1" in it. Originally, I had intended to draw a follow-up for that ref sheet, with part 2 talking extensively about his tail and what he can do with it.
Update: minor correction to the right foot's shading in the quadruped pose, which had been bothering me since this morning.

Very cute! Also, regarding that part 2 you mentioned, I can already imagine what he can possibly do with the tail, which include those examples in some of your other works. Like balancing, using it as a pillow and such. In anycase, it's still an amazing work and I also love the quadrupede pose! ^_^

That quadrupedal pose is pretty much a lampoon over how some people like to create both "anthro" and "feral" forms of their characters. I resisted labeling as such because both definitions are ambiguous to him. It's really the same form throughout -- I merely switched to a more quadrupedal gait.

I guess Danbuster looks pretty fresh for his age too, if he's supposed to be my age... I'm a bit loose about what age I'm keeping my OCs, except that there are older, middle and younger generations... and Dan's is the middle one, right between his parents and the teenage children of his friends.
