Description The most redundant knob on my headphone controller.
It never leaves maximum.

So, yeah. Some activity, finally.
I should probably upload more stuff. You may well see more photos from me soon, both macro and landscape.

Also, for scale: The area shown in this photo is roughly equivalent to a thumb nail.

it's apparent you don't listen to what I listen to... Bass is the last thing you want marring up the music.

I'd say it's almost certain we listen to different genres.
I mainly listen to heavy electronic music.

Wait... Electronica doesn't require base...

OMG, you're destroying the trance-like qualities. Heathen!

...Trance...
That's not exactly my main genre of electronic music.
I'm talking more heavy DnB, Electro House, Hardstyle, Hard Dance, Dubstep, Trapstyle, etc.
I do listen to some trance, etc, but I find more bass = more trancelike. (But that's just me.)

hmmm... Out of all of them, I think Trapstyle needs base, and even then it's not that much.

House of any type usually has its own bass build in.

And Dubstep is not music. Period.

Might be because of the age difference. I used to think the same thing about what you'd call old school dance. Then I realized that it didn't need as much either when I came back to listen to it 20 years later.

Dubstep as the common populous knows it is not music.
But having said that, Skrillex is not Dubstep.

You can actually find some very nice Dubstep, if you know where to look.

Also, one other thing I should mention is that I have a lot of high-range hearing. (I can still pretty much hear up to 20,000Hz.) The bass balances things out for me. High-range hearing usually drops off with age.

I do know where to look... I have subscriptions to people like Marcus Schulz, Ben Gold, Gareth Emery, and when he still had his podcast - Galen Behr.

All of them have attempted to introduce various forms of Dubstep into their programs... All of them have received harsh criticism for each and every attempt.

And this old man can still hear into the high levels... Else I wouldn't be listening to trance and electronica, but old people music. Thank you very much
