I just realized. If you're doing all the boss art for Platinum, you got your work cut out for you. Considering how Platinum has the most legendaries you come across in the game, unless you include OR/AS.

So is Rotom like Lucario and ......... wow my mind just decided to go blank on Pokemon XD oh wait Zoroark, but anyway like them being Rare Pokemon and in their respective games being the only one you can find in the wild but can be bred? or also Like Slaking where not Legendary but have Legendary like stats or something like that?

Rotom's one of those rare pokemon where there's only 1 in the entire game, including riolu and spiritomb in DPPt.
Stat-wise, it's decent.
It can make for a decent special sweeper, but it's not exactly the best.
Its multiple forms are awesome, increasing its base stats by a decent amount making it more viable and a bit defensive.
Which is why you see people run heat or wash forms most of the time in competitive battles.

Well, no. By definition, a pseudo-legendary is a non-legendary pokemon with really high stats.
They need to have the following in order to qualify as one:
a 3-stage evolutionary line, difficult to level up, and a base stat total of exactly 600.
Rotom is none of these. It doesn't evolve, its base stat total is 440, and fairly easy to level up.
And, yeah, Rotom has a stat increase once it changes to one of its forms.
It gets slightly slower, but it gets 107 on both defense and special defense as well as a special attack of 105.
So it's a dual wall AND a special sweeper of sorts. Fun to use.

Yeah, Slaking is a dangerous pokemon to be up against.
I used one on my team in emerald, and it wrecked everyone so hard, it ain't even funny. O_O
Also funny enough, Slaking isn't considered a pseudo legendary despite having a base stat total of 670.
I guess it's because of the truant ability, but that's easily fixed with skill swap in doubles.
These ones are considered pseudo legendary: Dragonite, Tyranitar, Salamence, Metagross, Garchomp, Hydreigon, and Goodra.
Yeah, Rotom is a really good pokemon, especially for competitive play.
Not to mention, having levitate as an ability makes it immune to earthquake and eliminates one of its weakness.

Um Even with Truant Slaking is still a Beast. Chuggaa Used one in his LP of Emerald and using the Hyper Beam Strategy oh boy did he wreck stuff and that is weird that he is not considered one considering he has stats similar to Kyogre and Groudon!
and yeah Levitate makes Earthquake Useless haha XP or any other Ground move

Me neither I think it's because Washer rotom has access to hydro pump and being Electric/water with levitate means it's hard to pin down a weakness.
But again I tend to have a no legendary rule when I play so never used one.
