Commissioned by Chuggaaconroy for his Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness Let's Play.Surprisingly enough, Zapdos was probably the easiest of the three Legendary Birds for me to draw. I was super intimidated at first because of its design and the general feel I wanted it to have, but it came really naturally. For some reason, electricity is just really fun to draw.

Fantastic work as always Masae. Although, looking at this and Moltres, I would have to say it may be more suitable to say "Shadow _______" in the title because of the purple/violet haze (or aura) around them, but that's just me.

In my pokemon X game, I only have Articuno, maybe I'll use the GTS to get Moltres and Zapdos.

I love the electricity, and the way the light shines on Zapdos, your attention to shadows is so amazing! Really reminds me of the Sugimori Artwork!
