Description before I start anything, THANK YOU FOR THE 500K PAGEVIEWS which i juz caught it with my own eyes a few minutes ago [link] so, to old/new watchers & random passer by, thank u for all the watch/favs/comments/etc etc

L to R respectively are:
    Takasugi Shinsuke (Gintama)
Nougami Neuro (Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro)
    Excalibur (Soul Eater)
    Kururu (Keroro Gunsou)
    Sarutobi Sasuke (Sengoku Basara)
    Shark Fujishiro (Seto no Hanayome)
6 charas from 6 different series, each with their own different personality, but all of them are voiced by a same person, Koyasu Takehito my #1 fav seiyuu

& group pic kills; its still hard for me & my lvl to keep the pic's balance & the pose/anatomy right
altho some of their poses (like takasugi, sasuke & fujishiro's) were ref'd from the photo shots at my seiyuu's magazine, "Cool Voice: special edition" but meh~ anyway, at least i like the way it (the colorfulness) turns out, lol

Yeah...
I get it...
But...
I heard that Masamune will be humuliated by Mitsunari...
Well, Yukimura and Masamune's story will be kinda gloomy in this series...
Hmmm...
I hvn't tried played Samurai Warriors even though I have the game.
XD
I try it next time...
To compare SB with SW...
Haha11x.
I think in SB, everything is made overdramatic.
Yeah...

When I asked my friend whether she knows SB, she answer, "Oh yes!!! I heard the main chara can hold 6 swords at once!!! Strange, huh?"

MasamuneRevolution In reply to Tormented-Complex [2009-08-22 16:03:47 +0000 UTC]

ahahaha~ i think capcom might have their own plan, u know, like they create a chara (which is very popular in other game - ishida mitsunari in this case) to be hated in their own game.
as far as i know, capcom never give good impression to this mitsunari guy, as like in the Onimusha 4 game; i hate that guy in that ol' series too

besides, if u know the proper history of the sengoku period, during the battle of the Sekigahara at 1600 (the setting for SB3), the Date clan who at 1st join the Toyotomi-turned-Ishida army, was humiliated by that Ishida Mitsunari guy, then the Date army withdraw their army from this new Ishida-Toyotomi army, then by Kojyuuro's suggestion, Masamune decided to sided with Tokugawa Ieyasu.
That battle of Sekigahara at year 1600, is 1 of the shortest, yet also known as the fiercest war during that period. this last for 3h only war was won by the allied clans under the Tokugawa army, & Ishida Mitsunari was executed in the next few days after that war. then, to show his gratitude, Tokugawa Ieyasu gave a bigger land to the Date clan, in which Masamune then move his base from his birth land Oshuu to a new land @ year 1603 which is now known as the what so called nowaday Sendai city

bout the Masamune-Yukimura relationship, the 2 were suppose to be enemy to each others; (during that period) they were the new dragon & tiger; as like what kenshin & shingen were used to be (not as like what capcom sometimes show between those 2 in their earlier games, like teaming up to beat their enemies)

& u can say that, during the Battle of Osaka @ year 1615, the very last battle of the sengoku period, it was said that the Date army who still sided with Tokugawa army, was fighting against the Sanada army, who was serving under that ex-Ishida!new-Toyotomi army (this fact might give horror to every yukimura's fans who know nothing bout this history, lol....)
during that war, the Sanada army's plan was to charge forward & breach the Tokugawa allied armies at all cost so that they (in this case, yukimura) can kill Tokugawa Ieyasu. But with the all powerful & vast Date army taking the front-most line, most of the sanada's men were killed before they able to breach into the Tokugawa main camp which was far behind. but, at least, in the other hand, yukimura who was badly wounded by the Date's, was barely made it into the front of tokugawa's main camp, but only to died out of exhaustion...... altho cause of that, the shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu, honored his enemy's death with "Sanada Yukimura, the bravest warrior of all time"

oh, forgot to mention that, unlike the Date clan who sided the Tokugawa clan since year 1600, the Sanada joined the Ishida-Toyotomi army during that year, so that might explain the gloomy part u mentioned xD;;;

& omg, my looooooooooooooooooooongest reply EVER xDDDD
sorry, i often like this when it comes to the history bout sengoku period - if we are talking bout this IRL, one might need to listen to my "history lesson" for hours, lol..... *shot*

(Well, I'm sorry if this bother u to type long reply just for me..)
Haha11x.
I like ur lesson, thx masa-revo sensei!!!

But, I thought Sekigahara battle took 8 hours?
Well, I played Onimusha too.
Is Onimusha 4 is the same as Onimusha : Dawn of Dreams?
With main chara Hideyasu Yuki a.k.a Soki?

👍: 0 âĐ: 1

MasamuneRevolution In reply to Tormented-Complex [2009-08-23 08:03:01 +0000 UTC]

yup yup onimusha 4 = dawn of dream xDD

the main battle at sekigahara only last for 3h, but the smaller wars (outside sekigahara) probably last a lil bit longer, cause it took quite a time for the news bringer men to spread the news to other locations

& yah, he was said to died at the battle camp during 1 of the Toyotomi invasion cause of TBC

Tormented-Complex In reply to MasamuneRevolution [2009-08-24 10:41:52 +0000 UTC]

No wonder he always coughes blood in the game...
Haha11x.
And Mitsunari was said to replace Hanbee as Toyotomi's retainers?

👍: 0 âĐ: 1

MasamuneRevolution In reply to Tormented-Complex [2009-08-24 13:03:13 +0000 UTC]

yah, it can be said like that, altho actually, Mitsunari took Toyotomi Hideyoshi's position as a leader after Hideyoshi died & Hideyoshi's son is still a 5-6yo boy.

well, at 1st, after Hideyoshi died, there's a riot among his followers (which the Date army was still part of the Toyotomi allied army) - among the followers who clearly want to rose & took Hideyoshi's seat as a new leader & become the "guardian" of the young Hideyori were that Mitsunari & Mouri.
The "seat" was later won by the sly Mitsunari (& since the Date army was never really trusted even among the Toyotomi alliance members - which might the cause of the humiliation from Mitsunari - & also the reason why the Date later join the Tokugawa Ieyasu army, who says that he trusts Masamune whatever/whoever he is)
altho, cause of that, during the battle of Sekigahara, the Mouri army, which was actually vaster than Ishida's, refused to send their army to aid Mitsunari, 1 of the few main reason that cause the downfall of Mitsunari there

👍: 0 âĐ: 1

Tormented-Complex In reply to MasamuneRevolution [2009-08-24 13:27:33 +0000 UTC]

Hmm...
How bout the Chosokabe clan?
I rarely heard about them...

👍: 0 âĐ: 1

MasamuneRevolution In reply to Tormented-Complex [2009-08-24 14:27:20 +0000 UTC]

almost the same as Mouri, the Chosokabe was under the Toyotomi during that time too; but they fight on the other location (not in the main battle at Sekigahara) - after the lost of that Ishida-Toyotomi army, Tokugawa Ieyasu spares their life (in hoping that the Chosokabe will join the Tokugawa when needed in the future); but still, during the battle of Osaka at 1615, the Chosokabe keep their loyalty to this new Toyotomi army; thus, after being defeated again by the Tokugawa, Chosokabe was later beheaded

👍: 0 âĐ: 1

Tormented-Complex In reply to MasamuneRevolution [2009-08-25 10:23:49 +0000 UTC]

Hmm...
We talks bout Chosokabe Motochika, right?

I see...
Is Motochika really like how Capcom portrayed him?
Yeah, with pirate atribut or whatever...

Bcoz it's a fact that his domain was at Seto Inland, rite?

👍: 0 âĐ: 1

MasamuneRevolution In reply to Tormented-Complex [2009-08-25 10:38:51 +0000 UTC]

his rivalry with the mouri was indeed true, but i dont think his army was pirates xD;;;;;;
i think capcom juz twisted the charas' design/personalities xDDDDD

👍: 0 âĐ: 1

Tormented-Complex In reply to MasamuneRevolution [2009-08-25 10:58:25 +0000 UTC]

Soooo...
No "ANIKI"-shouting pirate?
Haha11x.
Of course...
I shud hv known bout Capcom's habit to overdramatize everthing...

That's actually what's interesting from Capcom.

Oww, yeah!!
I even forget the important question here.
Is it really true?
The rivalry between Masamune and Yuki?
Bcoz, I've ever heard that actually Yuki hate Ieyasu Tokugawa very much.
His brother too, whom worked for Tokugawa.

👍: 0 âĐ: 1

MasamuneRevolution In reply to Tormented-Complex [2009-08-25 12:28:26 +0000 UTC]

lol i dont think so xDDD cause noble samurai wont be down grading themselves to something like pirate xDDD
oh, taking bout pirates, Fuuma Kotaro, after the Hojo was defeated, was said to turn into pirate - who later responsible for the death of the legendary Hattori Hanzo

yah, before them, it was Uesugi Kenshin & Takeda Shingen who was known respectively as the Dragon of Echigo & the Tiger of Kai.
but after both of them had died, it was Masamune & Yukimura who respectively were known as the 1-eyed Dragon & the Red Tiger
& strangely enough, both the dragons were came from the Tohoku (north east) region, while the tigers were from the chuo (central) region of japan xDDDD

while bout yukimura's bro, Nobuyuki; it was said during that time, their father, Masayuki, have each of his son to join 2 different army;
so, incase if 1 of them will lose, there will still be a son of his who will continue the sanada bloodline. thus, Nobuyuki was sent to the Tokugawa army while Yukimura to the Toyotomi side.

i kinda doubt bout Nobuyuki hatred towards Ieyasu tho, cause he seems very loyal to him, & was trusted back by Ieyasu himself.
after the lost of the Ishida-Toyotomi army during the sekigahara, it was said that Nobuyuki was the one who ask Ieyasu to spare his bro's life

but well, as hard head as yukimura might be, in the 1615, as what u might have know, he join the new Toyotomi army again & died there - thus leaving the nowadays Sanada bloodline is the one from Nobuyuki's
(nobuyuki is also said to be standing near Ieyasu's side when he saw yukimura charges near there, so if Nobuyuki actually does hate ieyasu, he might actually help his bro & kill Ieyasu, but he didnt, so loyalty is juz part of their blood & honor, as like yukimura who keep following the Toyotomi despite of the disadvantages)

👍: 0 âĐ: 1

Tormented-Complex In reply to MasamuneRevolution [2009-08-26 13:48:27 +0000 UTC]

Ahhh, I see...
I just read bout the Noboyuki thing in Samurai Deeper Kyo briefly...
So, I really don't know bout it...

Really?
Fuma Kotarou?
Wowww...
That one, I never heard of it...

Hattori Hanzo (or Hattori clan) said to be worked under Ieyasu's command.
Is that true?

Wew...

Oh, I'm not really sure bout how Date died...

Can u tell me bout it?

👍: 0 âĐ: 1

MasamuneRevolution In reply to Tormented-Complex [2009-08-26 14:13:03 +0000 UTC]

yup, the Hattori ninja clan serves under the Tokugawa clan, while the Fuuma serves under the Hojo.
so after the fall of Hojo (in 1590) by the Toyotomi-Tokugawa alliance armies, the Fuuma clan, who was lead by Fuuma Kotaro became lord-less ninjas.

oh, dont be fool by the Hojo from Basara
cause in history, the Uesugi, Takeda & Hojo were considered to be the top 3 biggest clan/army during that time;
so, even to took down the one & only Hojo (cause before that year, Uesugi Kenshin & Takeda Shingen had passed away), it still took 2 other vast alliance armies of Toyotomi-Tokugawa to win against a single clan.
& Fuuma Kotaro who kill Hattori Hanzo in the later year probably for revenge to his deceased lord too, altho no one know his real reason for sure, cause since that incident, Fuuma Kotaro was said to be like "disappear with the wind" (hence the clan name "fuuma" éĒĻ魔 which mean demon wind) - nothing bout him & his clan had been told/heard/record since

when i pay a visit to Date Masamune's grave site, it was said (from the modern technology & medical research from his bone) that Date Masamune died of cancer, at the age of 70

👍: 0 âĐ: 1

Tormented-Complex In reply to MasamuneRevolution [2009-08-27 11:51:04 +0000 UTC]

Cancer?
Geeezzz...

I thought u said Fuuma become pirate after he become lord-less?

Capcom make Hojo really... Well...
U can say, pathetic, in the anime...
XD
I don't really understand the anime.
Is it true that Ieyasu is dead?
I thought he actually be the one who will rule after Sekigahara war...
Or maybe Capcom just twisted all the history fact?

👍: 0 âĐ: 1

MasamuneRevolution In reply to Tormented-Complex [2009-08-27 11:52:42 +0000 UTC]

yup, he turn into pirates after he & his clan lost his lord

i dont think he is dead... but who knows....? capcom is juz unpredictable xD;;;;

👍: 0 âĐ: 1

Tormented-Complex In reply to MasamuneRevolution [2009-08-27 11:57:51 +0000 UTC]

Haha11x.
I know Capcom...

Just wait and see...
Anyway, I don't know where I heard it.
But, I heard that Masamune is a good gourmet.
He has great sense ini cooking and culinary...
My friend even said he invented miso...
Is that true?

👍: 0 âĐ: 1

MasamuneRevolution In reply to Tormented-Complex [2009-08-27 14:02:27 +0000 UTC]

i believe he is not the one invented it, cause miso already exist long before that time
but well, in the Date Masamune history museum (which was built & currently owned by his nowadays descendants), was written that the Date clan teach/support/help their villagers to grow a better crops & vegetables.

even in the modern day (when i visit Sendai last month), & since the city is positioned between mountain & sea, the food there really are good, the vegies & the seafood are very fresh, & esp their local beef, known as Sendai-gyuu are extremely delicious tho xDDD;;
so, i think that 400 years ago, the Date clan might actually eat the same thing too >w<

& sendai city, is also well known as japan's [mori no miyako] which lit means green(forest) capital, for there are many natural forest & park there (which they said that it was Date Masamune's wish to keep Sendai green)
Matsushima which is around 30min train from sendai (the place where the museum is located), is known as jpn's top 3 most beautiful place. & that place, like sendai, was also built by Masamune as his summer resort area xDDD
