ThatΒ΄s really a nice species. I think such a small plant can dry out very quick?

No actually it has very waxy bulbs so it doesnt dry out quick at all.
The only disadvantage is that when I split the plant I lost one half, I put it somewhere and I could never find it again Β

i'd love to have that one... but would prefer to have lots of room for flowers and plants. so far i have only one orhid my mom got for her b-day and that started flowering this year. everyone thought i'd toss it because it had only leaves, but i can' kill a plant just like that. and now it's bearing buds again

Thanks its a nice one!
lack of space is no reason not to grow orchids. I used to grow miniatures like this one cus I used to live in a small flat, had about 150 species, all intriguing! π

have to see is i can get hem here... we tried to grow wild orchids from our region, but they are so dependent on soil and mycorrhyzal fungi that it did not work. and for the exotic ones, i'd love to have a greenhouse but not all i have is a south-facing window only cacti like

I did split my plant into 2 pieces but unfortunately I lost one of them, couldnt find it when I was going to attach it to the cork
Guess thats the disadvantage of cultivating miniatures!
