*NOTE* No, I do not have a tutorial or blueprints, I did not make the frame, I got it as part of a trade. As for the feathers, no tutorial there either, but have a look at ~Sunnybrook1 for a feather making tutorial.
So finally got brave enough to cut my red feathers to the right size. I ran out of the red fabric so if I screw this up I'll have to remake all of those, and I don't really feel like that.
Thankfully it went well.
I like this look a lot, quite happy with how it turned out so far. Now I just have to attach them all.
So. Much. Work.

Bushitaka made the frame for me. He doesn't make them for other people anymore though. He does have some scraps and deviations on the components.

I have no idea, I made all the feathers myself. Just get yourself some materials and start working

Oh like that. Well, I open and close them manually, when I close them they stay like that and same when I have them open. They don't flap or anything though, wish I could afford a motorized frame xD

They're for an original character I'm cosplaying. At first I just wanted wings, but some time this year a character finally created itself in my head and that made me want to finish them.
And then I ran out of white fabric for the feathers, and found this red one, and decided to give them some color
I think they're turning out so well

Well, so far this is the 3rd time I'm putting these same wings together, and it's 2,5 years of working on them, so, ehm, yes xD

More or less. I decided I don't care if they fold 100% like they should. I want to finish them
Posing for pictures will be done with them open anyway, so meh xD
