Great looking environment! I want to spend time there. I think the ceiling is too low in the area to the left. Still love the work in this. Nice lighting and great render.

nice very nice, was it the advance render you use in cinema 4d to render the scene? Your textures also excellent

Also all shadows points downwards what is with the dark spot above the cupboard with the orange alcove?

you're nitpicking

Just offering constructive criticism. There are often details missed by the renderer because he is concentrating on a lot of things at the same time. These things are often so by another without the burden rendering.

I agree with Omerty with regards to nitpicking.

The closer an item gets to another, darkness/shadow forms. Real world fact.

Personally speaking, I would first reach the above standard before I give constructive critism.

No offence intended.

Like I said things are missed (which is human nature) because our attention is captivated by a certain goal. These things often seen by another who is viewing the scene as a whole.

The criticism is not the skill(which in this case is very good) at which the work is done but those things which are second nature to every human, "we are not gods and so cannot (in most often case
)comprehend all."

On a design note, will the furniture survive the onslaught of rain?

macray411 [2010-06-12 05:45:25 +0000 UTC]

way better... but you should either use another color or another length on the AO settings. for the moment this looks strange. Some of the roof beam look detached from the wall.

btw: list the glass wall next to the stairs, so the upper rim is ~90cm above the landing. This way you prevent people tripping over it.
