What/Who we have here are Godzilla Earth and Aurelion Sol, the living Embodiment of different aspects of the Vice-Verse (my crossoververse).

Godzilla Earth being the aspect of Will, Power and Destruction. While Aurelion Sol is the Aspect of Cunning, Knowledge and Creation. Both being aspects of the Vice-Verse themselves puts them on top of the Vice-Verses food chain, even above death and Vices children, but just below Vice himself.

Both have a duty to maintain order in the Vice-Verse, making sure everything should be as it should. Darkseid gain control of to much of the universe? They'll be there to put those numbers back to what they should be. Heroes prevailing a little to much? They stop that too.

As for their individual origins, both are very similar enough to their official counterparts origins. Godzilla Earth is a plant life form who has evolved over the centuries into the ultimate life form (While also being the base for the Godzilla species) who brings balance through death and destruction. While Aurelion Sol is a Celestial Dragon God and Forger of Stars, who in turn gives the universe life. Aurelion Sol was nearly enslaved like his official counterpart, but his enslavers were quickly slaughter by Godzilla.

Unlike his official counterpart however, Godzilla Earth can actaully form on any planet, meaning given sometime he could become Godzilla Mars, or Godzilla Coruscant and much more. But he and Sol (To an extent) only appear on planets in need of them. I say to an extent for Sol because hes more... Chill about his role as an Aspect compared to Godzilla. Sol prefers to mess with mortals, see how they react to him, his power and knowledge rather than do his job. But he does it regardless.
