Was this image edited to look like a painting? There's no details in the flowers' petals and looks overly saturated, I often get that when I shoot flowers. Don't know why though, I've tried everything imaginable even when shooting in raw mode. Do you shoot in raw mode? Cheers!

Hi, did you mean to say that you did not do any editing with it? If you try shooting in raw mode you will have to convert it to jpeg format afterwards and also, keep in mind when you shoot in raw the image will look differently on your computer as to what it looks like in your camera. What you see in your camera when shooting raw is a compressed jpeg of what the raw file could look like after you edit it. You have more better control of how your final image looks when you shoot raw. I believe you can convert/edit raw files in Photoshop CS, if not I like to use lightroom version 6. Just check out some YouTube videos on shooting raw images, that is if you have the patience/time messing with all those stupid ads! I hope this helps, take care and keep shooting!
Cheers,
Keith J.

Edition for me it's only work in PhotoShop, I take photos in last time in "raw", and save as them in PhotoShop. On all photos I work in PS and edit them. This photo I only save from raw to jpg...

I always shoot in raw and then convert to a 24x36 inch 300dpi jpeg for the sale of my images online for print.

Is that so you can open the image in multiple different software programs for editing? I've seen people open images in Lightroom and then finish them up by importing them straight into Photoshop. The only thing I use Photoshop (Elements that is) is for the healing brush for cloning out unwanted spots. The one in Lightroom is sort of dodgy. I'm trying my hand at shooting birds, let's just say they are easier to shoot when they are perching on the ground or in a tree!
I'm trying to find that happy medium point in my camera's settings. Anything above ISO 1000 has too much noise especially in open sky, for that I usually shoot with ISO set at 800 and use spot metering with around 1-2 stops increased exposure compensation. I shot some Parakeets flying overhead yesterday evening using those settings and shot a burst of about seven images and the tonality of the sky varied greatly in almost every shot. I try and shoot at f/8 so that I can get as much d.o.f. as I can and still have a fast enough shutter.
