Animation test this is a quick test for a turntable,Quite a lot still wrong with the character on the back of the head and translucency
just a test 400 frames render in octane render & poser game dev,. 1600 x 1200
render time 2 hrs. with 2 GFX cards GTX 780ti

Very realistic. Perhaps just a little less glossiness, and slightly deeper SSS. Great great work.

Looks like a good start and the lighting worked well.
What program did you use to make the swf? I've been wanting to do some more animation, but I had problems finding something that didn't cost a crazy amount and/or didn't suck to make the swf, ended up using a demo of something, that seemed ok.

If i had to tell you how long ive wanted to do an Animation... great result on this one man... Funny how lively the characters appear when things are moving

i have 3 gfx cards with this at full load they only hit 20 c all the time. makes Animation

whys the head transparent? i can see the eyeballs though its backhead...

SSS is to transparent on skin that's why you can see the back of the head.
easy fixed but i did not want spend 2 hrs redoing it as it just test

Sounds like a renderer bug. Real SSS doesn't do that in other programs, like Blender.

in my software i "fake" SSS with illumination maps ...lol because real SSS takes ages in cinema4D and isnt really accurate on Daz3D figures :/

look at octane render for daz and cinema4D there demos to give you idea how good it is
