I'm working on a digital piece of work at the moment, in photoshop, that I intended to enter into =karemelancholia 's Inner Beauty Contest ... but the deadline is the 24th, so I'm not gonna' make it. As such, I'll just carry on with this until it's finished, and not be able to enter it into the contest.

This isn't the whole image, it's about an 8th of the total image. I've done a bit more too, a person, but that's in a different part of the screen. You'll have to wait 'till another shot to see 'em.

I'm going for a fairly cartoonish style, with a fair amount of detail added in as well.

Done on a laptop pad - as such, it's taking bloody ages. The squiggly lines, and black lines you can see in the background are just guide lines that won't be in the final piece.

Done with mainly a 1 or 2 pixel brush, with a bigger one occasionally, and the paint bucket once in a while too. The cross you might spot is just the brush - I screenshotted' this, 'cos I'm lazy.
