Good idea throwing in Bandana Waddle Dee, because he's voted a lot to get into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Wouldn't have hurt to include Sylux from Metroid Prime Hunters as additional Metroid representaiton.

I don't think it would hurt to have Marth's descendants Chrom and Lucina from Fire Emblem Awakening in the roster as well. They're, after all, from an important bookmark in Fire Emblem history after all. And it wouldn't hurt to include Corinn from Fates if it mean Ryu Bateson from Breath of Fire would be her rival. Oh, and where's Anna? She's been in almost every Fire Emblem game since the beginning.

Good job throwing in Rex along with Shulk for additional Xenoblade representation. But you should've also included Elma, considering X has that incredibly bad-ass song "Uncontrollable" which is just so damn good for a fighting game, and was used in her debut trailer for that Xenoblade 2 expasnsion pass.

You can't have Morrigan Aensland without Felicia, Hsien-Ko, Jon Talbain, and Jedah Dohma. You can't have enough Darkstalkers reps!

You're missing some pretty important Mega Man legacy characters, like X (first game is on a Nintendo platform; that should've gotten your attention) and Volnutt (who we haven't seen since Tatsunoko vs. Capcom back in 2010). Heck, it wouldn't have even hurt to throw in Protoman and Mega Man.EXE as well (since you have another character from Mega Man Battle Network).

I'm so glad you didn't neglect Claire Redfield! A lot of people don't include her in their NvC rosters.

Also impressed that you also included the other Final Fight characters like Cody and Guy. People forget them as well. But you could've also included Lucia Morgan and Poison since they just made a DLC appearance in Street Fighter V last year. Plus Lucia was in Final Fight 3, released exclusively for the Super Nintendo.
