They're worth watching if you enjoy horror, sci fi or Giger's art. And if you like all three you can't miss them! I'd say the 1st is the best film, though a little aged, and the 4th has the best looking Aliens

but I remembered I've seen a fragment of some of the Alien movies, with an albino alien (??), when he was sucked into a hole in a spaceship or something like that... don't remember much
